Note: All About Cape Town (SA)

Planning my clients vacation in December. So....time to look for info dont mind about this scattered notes ok.

Table Mountain Cape Town

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
"The fairest Cape we ever saw in the whole circumference of the earth," exclaimed the great navigator Sir Francis Drake when he sailed into Table Bay in the year 1580. Through the centuries it has been called by many names: the Cape of Storms, by the Portuguese soldiers who forst navigated around the trecherous shores at Cape Point; the Cape of Good Hope, by those who survived the journey to enter the calmer waters of Table Bay; and for South Africans today, simply "the Cape" - an acknowledgement of its status as the Mother City, and of its unique character.

The feeling in the Cape is certainly not African, but cosmopolitan; the weather is quite unlike that on the rest of the continent and the landscape differs dramatically as well. For most of the year, the Cape experiences weather which changes from pleasant to sublime, but it has earned its knickname "Cape of Storms" with good reason. The Cape is the only part of Africa which falls within a temperate climate zone and it enjoys typical Mediterranean weather with long, hot summers and cool, wet winters.

Cape Town offers incredible scenic pleasures, fascinating history, endless coastline with pristine beaches, hiking, sailing, cycling, boating, and loads of other outdoor activities, world-class winelands, superb nightlife and fine food and wine. For visitors to Southern Africa, a stopover in Cape Town for at least a few days is highly recommended. The hotels are some of the finest on the world and there is nowhere else on the continent which is at all similar to South Africa's southwestern Cape.

Saya ke Capetown dua minggu sebelum Ramadhan yang lalu...... waktu itu was end of winter... siang about 20C , malam mencecah 8C.... It was a beautiful experience. Saya dan suami jatuh cinta pada Capetown. Keindahan semulajadi mengingatkan kita kebesaran Allah... anak2 saya berusia 2 & 3 tahun juga 'enjoyed' exploring capetown...

The penguins colony at Boulders Beach, Animal Zone, Lion Park, Two Ocean Aquarium, Ostrich Farm & whale watching are great places for the children.

It was is Arabic and English.. sangat berkesan di hati".

  Some pics during my visit...
